Now modern days dog culture is like having a dog at home is a passion for some, an attachment for some, an incredible love on dogs for some, for some they are the trustable cute little friends, and for some, they are among their family members. 

Very significant- Remember the following when taking the leash off of your dog: The dog should not run off, you running around in vain, calling and shouting for Fido to return. you should train your dog in a proper manner.

Yes, if you want Fido to free heal. you have to have your dog trained to heal on the leash very first 

So know how you need to get started; 

Take the leash off your dog 

Move straightaway. (Angling into your dog makes her heel wide.) 

A brisk walk! Don't move towards your dog's pace. 

Don't wave hands around-keep your LEFT hand near your body!

Make sure you always deliver the first command in a cheerful tone of voice. (Your puppy needs to know you 're happy – if you're in bad mood, don't start to teach your dog anything.) 

Adjust your voice to an authoritative sound, or aggressively call your dog's name if they don't keep up with your walking speed or amble backward.

AFTER the second command, pat your side gently and give praise. (Praise at whatever opportunity) 

If forging is your problem (Fido wants to get ahead of you), or if your dog tries to run off, you have to stand still! Signal back with the left hand and firmly repeat the heel command, now coaxingly pat your side. 

Note, it's not unlike teaching the dog to behave in a way that society expects. Offer them rules and border controls. Stand firm on what's right and what doesn't. Praise if an opportunity occurs, that is, whenever your dog acts as asked.

Show them the commendation they deserve when your dog does a good job of learning! Praise it while learning and doing well honestly. 

If the dog you 're training is tall, make sure you 're holding the twice folded leash with the snap end in your right hand. If the dog refuses to pay attention, call the name loudly, or reach out, and playfully "spank" them on the hindquarters with the leash end. 

You will then touch your hand to ease your dog close. (Never strike hard or in such a way as to inflict pain to your dog. Just the Gentle spank is all it takes)

If all efforts to keep your dog in heel position fail, it's time to restore the leash, give it ONE good jerk to bring your dog in close, and try once again. The change in voice, accompanied by flattery, with occasional leash use, will eventually teach your dog to stay with you at all times. Especially if you make the heeling fun!
